BANDTACK

This is a quick app to help your band practise.

You set up blocks (1 bar, 2 bars... 8 bars) and give it a name ("drum solo")
Set the BPM and beats in a bar, and hit "start".

The page will slowly scroll in time.  It's like sheet music, but
since everyone in my band basically taught themselves to play,
and we also don't really play the same notes in a given sing,
the block-level abstraction works well.
 

TODO

Persistence of data (save? in a textarea? in the URL?).
Name a song.
Different time sigs, and multiple sigs/BPMs in a song (7/8 -> 3/4, moneeeeyy..it's a gas)
Snapping of new blocks as they become current (like, slowdown...... snap!)
